Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 14th, and we are celebrating moms who are scientists on social media! Check out the hashtag #momisascientist.
If YOU are a scientist-mom, or have a mom who is a scientist, that’s where you come in! Pick a favorite picture such as a Mother’s Day gift or any picture that tells a story about life both as a scientist and as a mom. Post the picture on your preferred social media platform with the hashtag #momisascientist and #mothersday (and #giftformom if you post a picture of Mother’s Day gift).
It would be great to also include a link your (or your mom's) professional website. We hope that the ensemble of posts and links will help to highlight the many faces of science and research across social media.
We wish all moms in science happy Mother’s Day!
